Founding member ken kroner cares about ending injustice

Ken Kroner is the Principal of the Kroner Family Foundation and a founding member of Renewal Philanthropy.  

Ken’s reason for supporting Renewal Philanthropy and what survivor-driven change means to him is listed below:

  • A person who comes out of a position of oppression will be the most powerful in helping eliminate oppression.
  •  Ken believes in survivor-driven change because it moves people from adversity to power.

The benefits of collaborating with other funders on survivor-driven change.

  • Ken explains that there, “really is no other way to do it” when he discusses how to effectively fund survivor-driven change.
  • Because this is a long-term endeavor Ken believes that you need fellow funders to bounce ideas off of in order to stay current on the issues.
  •  Ken believes we can have a much stronger impact on this issue if we work together to support meaningful change.
